What we collect, and why

When you send us a message or ask for a quote through the form on this website, we receive your name, your email address, your phone number if you give it, your message, the type of scaffolding you need, the site postcode if you give it, and any photos of the job you choose to add.

We use these only to reply to you, to price your job and to arrange the work if you go ahead. Your message is stored on the website and emailed to us. We keep it until we delete it, and we do not sell it or pass it to anyone for marketing.

Photos you add are stored privately. They are never shown on the website, and only we can open them.

Who looks after the website

The website is hosted for us in the United Kingdom by British Web Design, who process this information on our behalf and deliver the website’s email. They do not use it for anything else.

Cookies

The website sets a session cookie and a security cookie, which every visitor needs for pages and forms to work safely. They do not track you.

The website’s own visitor counts are cookieless: they tell us how many people visit, without identifying you.

If we switch on Google Analytics or advertising tags, a banner will ask you first, and nothing is set until you accept. Your answer is remembered in your browser, and you can change your mind at any time.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR) you can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, and object to how we use it. Email us and we will reply within a month.

If you are not happy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

We may change this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it last changed.
